Offshore jacket is one of the essential tools for offshore infrastructure development. All kinds of offshore facilities supported by jacket often encounter the impact of out of control vessels. Due to structural damage, the bearing capacity of jacket subjected to ship impact often decreases, which leads to various safety problems. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the damage and residual strength of jacket ship collision for improving the safety of offshore facilities. Based on the actual situation, this paper comprehensively considers the material, size, collision and other conditions involved in the process of ship collision with jacket, and uses the finite element software ABAQUS to simulate the process of ship collision with jacket under different working conditions, and demonstrates the functional relationship between the maximum collision force and various impact factors. The residual strength assessment of the jacket after impact is realized, and a semi analytical model between the initial kinetic energy of the ship and the ship impact damage of the key nodes of the jacket is established, which provides a solution for the rapid assessment of the jacket ship impact damage.
